During the last week of October, our officers and 5 selected delegates attended FNSA State Convention in Daytona! We are so proud of our school as we had a large presence throughout the weekend! Other UCF nursing students came for the day on Friday and attended multiple focus sessions. By the end of convention, we left with the Diamond Chapter award, a place in the top 3 for the banner award, two resolutions from our students passed, an officer of our own who made state office as Region 3 Director, and a speech/panel on Pulse completed by our officer. It was a weekend full of laughter, team bonding, and a time for making changes in the field of nursing and becoming nurse leaders!
