Members of the Accelerated and junior Basic BSN classes came together to make a wonderful, warm, homemade meal for the well-deserving families of the Ronald McDonald House!

On March 5th, instead of heading somewhere new to enjoy Spring Break, a wonderful group of our nursing students stayed on campus to participate in the JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Fund) One Walk to help creat e a world without Type 1 Diabetes! Haley Boyle, Kim Emery, Kaman Cheng, Caroline Chu, Lauren Hurley, and Cat McGlinchy made  five lasagnas, salad, and garlic bread for the lovely people staying at the Ronald McDonald house! Thanks to these wonderful students, families and children going through a difficult time at the hospital were provided with an amazing hot, home-cooked meal!

Knight Nurses represented at the 2016 Inter-Professional Health Care Summit, whose theme was “Teamwork Makes the Dream Work!” Through this event, they participated in simulations which focused on honing their skills in terms of communication, evidence based practice, and team work! Great job everyone!
